Among Friends Postcard Book
United not only by their revolutionary style of painting, the Impressionists also shared profound and lasting friendships. They traveled together, spent time with each other's families, and often set up their easels side by side. Many of these moments are preserved in the paintings they made of each other, including Manet's affectionate depiction of Monet in his little floating studio (an awning-covered dinghy bobbing along the Seine), his striking portraits of Berthe Morisot, and Renoir's beautiful images of Camille Monet.
