Brontë Characters Mug
These heirloom quality bone china mugs are decorated with humorous illustrations depicting characters from Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Brontë’s literary classics, including Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Vilette, The Professor, The Tenant of Wildfall Hall, Shirley, and Agnes Grey. Also depicted are the four Brontë siblings (the authors and their artist brother, Bramwell), as well as Thornton (the Brontë birthplace) and Haworth (The Brontë Parsonage Museum).
The central characters are drawn in witty detail on the mug and are each depicted with significant details: bonnets and top hats, chessboards and nosegays, and much more.
Made in Scotland, in a factory on Loch Lomond, by a family business run by a grandmother, her daughter, and granddaughter. The company tells us, “Each mug is printed and decorated in the UK by our cheery, hardworking, skilled, and experienced staff.”
