Read a Book 1,000-Piece Puzzle
One of the treasure troves in the Library of Congress is its collection of WPA posters promoting libraries, reading, book clubs, and all things literary. Many of these vintage images have been brought together on this charming puzzle that will appeal to all bibliophiles.
The Work Projects Administration (WPA) posters were produced from 1936 to 1943 to publicize exhibits, community activities, theatrical productions, and health and educational programs throughout America; the program was one of the U. S. Government’s first in support of the arts. Of the 2,000 WPA posters known to exist, the Library of Congress's collection of more than 900 is the largest.
