Marbleized Silk Scarf
Our luxurious hand-marbleized silk crepe de chine scarf is made by a book and textile artist who specializes in the half-forgotten art of marbleizing. She captures the random beauty of this process in a scarf that is both a work of art and a utilitarian item. As book lovers, we have always loved the marbleized endpapers in antique and vintage volumes. The artist’s studio and dye garden is in the metropolitan New York City area; she also forages for natural dyes in upstate New York.
Each scarf is unique but the palette is one of pale blues, grays, with touches of subtle moss green. Quantities are extremely limited.
Machine wash cold; tumble dry low; warm iron. Each scarf is approximately 30” x 30”.Product SKU:
