Cactus Leather Notebook

We thought that the cleverly engineered flex binding of this handsome notebook was its most impressive and innovative feature, until we read that the covers of the Cactus Leather Notebooks are made of Cactus! Yes, the plant-based leather cover is manufactured from organically grown Nopal Cactus leaves.  

The other components of each notebook are made from rescued agricultural products: the flyleaf from coffee, the pages from citrus residue.

And back to flexibility: These eco-conscious notebooks are the latest in a line of products engineered to be extremely flexible so they can be opened to lie totally flat, for ease of writing and scanning, without damaging the binding.

The notebooks are manufactured (“with care and sustainable practices”) in Greece by a visionary company, and the paper is produced by an innovative Italian paper manufacturer. The paper is biodegradable, produced with EKO energy, GMO free, acid free, elemental chlorine free, and carbon black free, all resulting in a 20% reduction in carbon footprint.
