Best known as a Founding Father and polymath (writer, scientist, inventor, statesman, politician, diplomat, printer, publisher, and philosopher), Benjamin Franklin led a deeply committed moral life. Its clearest expression was his daily practice of asking himself, first thing when he awoke, “What good shall I do this day?” and, before retiring, asking, “What good did I do this day?”

In the spirit of Franklin, this pin is a reminder to ourselves and others to ask the Morning Question, “What good shall I do this day?” The compass design is a subtle reference to the North Star, a guiding principle or purpose, different for each individual, which gives meaning and direction to life.

Round pin is 1.25" diameter with one sturdy post in the back.
