Art Forms in Nature Letter Writing Set

This letter writing set comes in a carefully designed luxury box that hints of the delights within. Each box contains 40 sheets (ten each of four different designs, printed on one side, blank on the other), 40 matching envelopes (20 each of two designs) and 50 assorted stickers and labels. The sheets, envelopes and stickers all work together visually for endlessly inventive combinations.

The box itself has a taupe interior, a white ribbon hinge and an interior pocket.  All the components of this sumptuous set may be used in with each other or mixed with your own plain sheets and envelopes for even more artful combinations.

The images are taken from some of the most beautifully illustrated natural history books published in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Such books were an indispensable source of knowledge, and the beautifully detailed illustrations were made by the most talented artists of the time. The coloring was done by hand, making each illustration virtually unique.

The four different designs, in delicate colors, are of jellyfish, octopi and squid, and two botanical specimens.

The envelopes are of two different designs, jellyfish and aquatic plants.

The assorted labels and stickers each are printed with a unique illustration, from fish and hummingbirds to orchids and starfish.
