These all-occasion letterpress cards are embossed with CHEERS and a quote from Jane Austen’s Emma: “I would much rather have been merry than wise.” The blank notecards are printed on cream-colored matte stock; the embossing foil is champagne-colored, 3-5/8" x 6". Each comes with a matching envelope. 

The letterpress studio that makes these beautiful cards—in business for more than twenty years in the USA—was founded on a green approach to manufacturing. Paper made at the studio is from fiber that is 100% cotton, acid-free, and recovered from the garment industry. The machine-made envelopes that accompany some of the printed work is made from 100% post-consumer waste. The studio is run on wind energy, and uses soy inks, citrus solvents, and antique presses that date back over 100 years.
