This kit has everything needed to create a large, solar system–themed mobile. First, the planets and stars are painted with the eight gouache colors. Once dry, they are slid over the wire to create rings, following the position of the planets in the solar system. The last step is to affix the rings to the pre-punched stand and add the metallic rockets, comets, and stars to provide sparkle.

An illustrated booklet is also provided, helping children learn more about the solar system. This is a perfect project for learning about all the planets of the solar system.
