For those who appreciate artisan paper products, we are pleased to offer handmade notebooks by local artist George Henao Olsen. Each set includes three notebooks with covers of quality cardstock, cut and spray painted by hand. The colorful notebooks feature images of animals: on the green notebook, a frog; on the red notebook, an insect; and on the blue notebook, an octopus. Each image is first drawn by hand, then stenciled, and finally spray painted on the notebooks individually. The unlined pages are perfect for sketching, writing, and sparking creativity.

• Each set includes three notebooks.
• The covers are 100 lb. cardstock.
• The endpapers are 60 lb. kraft paper
• The interior pages are 60 lb. white paper.
• Each notebook has fifty pages.
  
• Each notebook measures approximately 5" x 6.25". (Notebooks are cut by hand, so there may be some discrepancy in size.)

About the artist:
George Henao Olsen is a visual artist from Upstate New York currently living in Brooklyn. George mainly produces comics, but he also paints and is interested in model making and sculpture. He enjoys learning about natural/scientific concepts through research and artistic experimentation. He also edits and publishes various comics anthologies, including but not limited to: Clamp Comics, featuring work of comic and visual artists from around the United States and Mexico, and Dino Funnies, consisting of kids comics by young artists for younger artists.
