About G. Lalo:
Just after World War I, Georges Lalo was employed by a printing and stamping company, where he learned the skills of working with paper during the day, while attending drawing and sketching classes at night. Lalo arrived in Paris in the summer of 1919, and with his skills, passion and ambition went to creating fine stationery. He rented a studio on rue Richer in Paris, bought used stamping equipment, and “G. Lalo, manufacture de papiers a lettres et d'enveloppes de luxe” was born. G.
