Before the advent of dust jackets, many books, especially those for children, were bound in brightly colored cloth with pictorial blocking in gold and colors. These Christmas books were thus presented as attractive gifts. Similarly, this greeting card itself is a thoughtful gift to the recipient.

These die-cut, tri-fold cards feature a photographic image of a bookshelf in one of the  University of Oxford's Bodleian Libraries that is filled with classic Christmas books chosen for their striking and appealing design, illustration, and typography.

The cards are designed and printed in Oxfordshire using stock from responsible forestry sources, essentially chlorine free and fully recyclable. All inks are vegetable based.
