Each cotton napkin in this set of four is printed with a vintage illustration from Foraging Plants and Mushrooms. At the top of the illustration, the title: Champignons (”mushrooms“ in French). The image depicts silver birch, nasturtium, slippery jack, birch bolete, chanterelle, yellow wood-sorrel, violet, blueberry, rustyback fern, chamomile, strawberry, and other edible plants and fungi. The illustration has been beautifully detailed and colored and has a classic and timeless appeal.

The packaging—a muslin drawstring bag, which is decorated with a vintage office label on one side and a reproduction of the image on the other—is as beguiling as the napkins themselves.
